Rise and shine, campers! Here we are in the somber aftermath of Groundhog Day. It is now 8:47 this side of noon, and a balmy 14 degrees. I think it's done snowing, so all that remains is just a lot of shoveling. Three more funky days and then it starts to warm back up.
And that's the best pep talk I can come up with. Boy do I hate this shit!!
Music News. Here is a link to some of my new stuff. I have two new albums this year: Sonorities, released on the 16th of last month; and St Vitus's Dance Card on the 22nd (supposed to be the 22nd of this month. Oh well..). Sonorities is smoother and St Vitus is a bit edgier. But they're both designed to entertain.
I had gigs in January, and I have them coming up: one in March, one in April, one in May. This month I'm staying put. I had one nice binge here in the Lab at the end of January, hoping for another one. There are 12 new tunes on the Music page, with more to come. So we're off to a good start here.
There is one new post on YouTube, with more to come. It's called Vierd Blues, and is an old Miles Davis tune. Your basic 12-bar blues. I still try to post something every couple days.
And that's all I've got for you for the moment. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy Winter Thursday to you! For now, I'm outa here. More later.
