Good morning! It's about 10:30 on this dismal Monday. In my 22 years with the IL Dept of Employment Security, I'm figuring I logged around 1100 Mondays. Around 250 of them were in the much quieter Region Office, but all the rest were served in the good old unemployment office. And just about all of those were noisy and chaotic.
At this point in life, 8 years into retirement, all that hubbub is becoming a distant memory- but still something I'll never forget. All that hubbub eventually enabled me to retire, so I'm ever thankful. Monday is now like a second Sunday, nice and peaceful. I rarely do any business on this day, unless there's no way around it.
This is something I wish for everyone. At least everyone who wants to retire..
Music news. Putting together two new recordings, soon to be available. 2020 was a crazy year for CDs, and 2021 has been equally nuts. Making music is just what I do, in all kindsa times, but it is also a great stress reliever. More music on the way!
On most musicians' websites, they have a Tribute page, where they put all the kind words others have had for them. I used to have one on my old website(through Hostbaby), and haven't bothered with it on my new one. But I think if I did it, I'd like to have some more honest feedback, which is always mixed. Here are two of my favorites, both from other guitarists:

You're known as one of the more neurotic personalities, but you're the most chill to work with. From a guitarist friend who had his own basement recording studio, from which several of my CDs were made.
