Friday

Greetings, whoever-reads-this! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 12:43 and 47 degrees at the moment. After three days in the shop, I've got my main computer back. And the tray is back to opening every time. Back in the saddle again--at least with regards to my computer.

The tech at Hyperion said that it's worn, but should have a couple more good years of service. I feel like that applies to just about everything around here from my automobile--a beat-up Plymouth Voyager from 2000--to my recording unit, which is a beat-up Fostex 16-track I got back in 2002; right down to myself- a slightly beat-up 1954 model...

Hoping for more good years out of all the abovementioned. Especially the 1954 model. Everything else can be replaced.

Music News. Hope to get back on track with some YouTube videos. I tried on the laptop, but too much noise. What with the luxury of having a tray that opened every time(!), I've been able to get a lot of music stuff done in the last couple days, as far as uploading files and so forth. More to come..

That's about all I had to say for now. Craziness in the world at large, but a little bit of peace in this little corner of it. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy Friday to you! For now, ich bin outa this place. More later.

PS today's pic goes back to 2011. Bob Katt and the Missing Lynx, at One East Market in Taylorville. Chas Blythe, Brad Davis, Kevin Cox and yours truly.
