I have eight new pieces that are more or less finished. Just got done adding guitar parts. I've got a Line 6 processor which gives you seemingly all the sounds except the one you're looking for- but I managed to wrench out some tones I liked. A couple of the selections seemed to need a more overdriven guitar sound. Actually you can take damn near any sound and get that tone from it simply by turning down your master volume and cranking it on the guitar. Something I'd forgotten, or thought I had. Must confess I haven't used that tone in any kind of active gig setting for quite some time, and am relatively unfamiliar with it at home- at least as far as its 'properties'. Did the best I could, and will hear whether or not that was 'good enough' when I remix all this stuff. Giving myself a little break before I dive back in.
