Good morning! About 10:30 on this dismal Sunday. Almost nine hours of sleep last night though, which makes a day like this somehow manageable. I seem to need around seven hours to be a nice, functioning human. . Less than that, I'm just a little bit crabbier, more suspicious. More than that, I'm more relaxed, more even-keel. New goal: more sleep at night...

The top story is still the CD I just released. The Sam Crain Quartet. It has all the stuff my solo projects of this past year were crying out for: 1)other people, 2)recognizable tunes and 3) even vocals. And it was a chance to honor the three guys who worked with me for those six years.
For some damn reason, it's not in with my other records, but it is a playlist on my regular Spotify site And there ar other playlists featuring some of my musical buddies like David Hoffman, Kevin Hart, Wayne Coniglio, Dreaming in Colours, Outer Park, et al.
in other news, WTF?! Another day with 350+ views. That's more views than I give it in a day. Yesterday was such a day. Had one back in March as well. Somebody at Boonzoggle--the company that oversees my website-- probably butt-dialed those numbers, but it's still cool to imagine getting several hundred visitors
Okay, I meant to say Bandzoogle. Stlll getting it together this morning. In yet other news, on a pretty good roll here in the Music Lab. Today should be a great day for such musicmaking. To be able to share any of the new stuff, I'm still going to have to have my computer in the shop for a couple days as they fish out the DVD that jenius-boy here got stuck in there.
