un-manic Monday

Greetings, whoever-reads-this! It's the day after Christmas. Enjoying the slightly warmer temperature, and coming out of hibernation- at least enough to run an errand. Technically, my hibernation ends mid-week. Wednesday is a Christmas dinner, and Friday is a gig at Boone's. My social calendar for the week.

On Friday I'll be with the Rob Killam Experience. Vocals/guitar, me on guitar, Rob on bass, keys and drums. 5:30 to 7:30. Jazz and some other stuff. Hope to see you there!

The list of dates for 2023 should be out sometime this week. From there, I'll have a Boone's gig to invite you to. Figuring sometime in the Spring.

I'm still practicing most every day. There were a couple days this month where home repairs took precedence over my woodshedding, but I'm back at it.  Still trying to keep my YouTube page well-stocked, so there's usually something up there to listen to.

Anyway, December 30th I'll be at Boone's. And sometime this next year, hopefully in the Spring. And I can always be found on my YouTube page, as well as here at Sam Central. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy un-manic Monday to you! Later for now.

PS today's pic was taken some years ago downtown during a Bassburg concert. From left to right: me, Mark Sanders, Rob Killam.  Today's tune is the title track of my album Oop Bop Sh'Bang. Me, guitar; Andy Burtschi, bass; Craig Russo, drums.
