Good morning! 9:17 and 31 degrees(!) are our current stats. A dark, shitty day.
Existential news. Indian Summer left us yesterday , with a 40 degree drop in temperature. We had a fluctuation like that a couple months ago, and it took a couple days for my body to adjust. 3 days of chills. Got the chills again last night about 9, but had more of a this-too-shall-pass attitude. I was able to thaw out easier this time.. Except for bathing, I think the longjohns--or thermal dermis, as I call them--will stay on until Spring.
In other old guy news, I'm still missing a front tooth. Called my Dentist, and was told that we need to give it a couple months to fully heal. That's fine. There's no pain. I just have to go around a little longer looking like a jack o'lantern.
Yesterday's post was more political, so I didn't share it to Facebook. I make no bones about my opinion of Trump and his minions, but I have friends on both sides of the Great Divide, and thus try and keep my page nice and non-partisan. Once in awhile, though, I just have to get all this stuff off my chest. The media just bombards you with it. When that happens, you can read it here..
Music news. Still spending a lot of time with my new guitar. I'm planning on making another solo guitar album this coming year, at Dennis Neff's home studio. We go back all the way to High School, and have kept in touch over the years. I think we'll have a very nice time.
