My newest album, released a month or so ago, is still my latest music news. All original music with lots of guitar and keyboard work. Stylistically, it's somewhere between smooth jazz and fusion. Some pretty tunes(I like to think)and some jamming. The link takes you to a YouTube page which features a number of my albums.
Still trying to keep up as far as practicing, and posting videos on YouTube. One goal I have for this year is to get a bass player and drummer over here and do a bunch of tunes to put up on my page. Also, just to get some time in working with real humans.. I can only make my own fun for so long, as far as that goes..
And hopefully another trio gig- or two- this year, down the road. I've even got a few folks asking me about that.
Domestic news. . This has been a big year for all that other stuff that gets in the way of making music. Aka life.. I've had to get my roof repaired, and am helping out with some family stuff. Those have been the two biggies in my life for the moment.
Roof repaired(except for a patch taken down by the storm). but still helping with the family stuff. It's requiring more of my time and energy, which is just fine with me. Nice to be needed…
Not much to share in the way of actual news this time. Still plugging along though. Another goal I have is to get my ass back in some kind of shape. The exercising has fallen by the wayside, but I did get a session in yesterday- for the first time in weeks.
