Good afternoon! It's 2:17 in the pm, and a balmy 81 degrees. A nice, sunny day- at least for the moment.
It's taken me awhile to get going today. One thing about getting older is that there are some days you just don't feel right. Even if you're basically healthy. But your plumbing is getting older along with the rest of you.
The good news is that it's made me cut back on the caffeine in the morning. I don't usually finish a pot of coffee--which is three cups and change--unless I didn't get enough sleep. Actually I think it's the acids in coffee as much as anything.
Music news. I've got a couple of new tunes, and some new mixes, on the Music page. These past couple days have been a nice binge. There is a new album on the horizon, but I've got more work to do before we get there. Coming soon!
And this coming week will feature at least one session with a bass player friend. He lives in Poland most of the year, but has family here. I had just been wondering what he was up to. So I hope to capture something or other to share on YouTube.
Looking forward to making music with someone else for a change. It was supposed to happen back in June, the trio with Rob and Dave, but was postponed due to the heat. Hopefully we'll still get this going.
Last but not least, I have a brief solo guitar gig on September 21st. My second time playing for this particular group. Should be fun.
