Greetings, whoever-reads-this! Here we are on the last day of 2023. This year has had its share of adventures- domestic, physical and familial. But the house is still standing, I'm still standing, and my brother is still standing. So on we go, into 2024.
Music news. One more album for 2023. I released one in the Spring https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mGhJq-rmD70_wH02XBAWRVWT1Pbubb8lE and figured that would be it for the year. But I uncovered a lot of backlog stuff that I thought might be sharable. So here come three more: Interluudes, Jazz Guitar Vol 5, and Boom Boom Room.
The cover pic was taken at Lime St Cafe. I think I'm somehow on their shit list, as far as the musicians they allow to play there. I did sub with Juke House for two years running, but haven't been there as me in quite some time. One of my oldest friends- James Isley- took the picture. Unfortunately, he's passed on, but does at least get a posthumous credit here.
Nietzsche: Some men are born posthumously. I spent a Summer reading various works of Fred Nietzsche, and didn't find much that resonated with me, but there is the occasional quote.
