Good morning! 10:27 and 59 degrees are our current stats. Another nice Fall day. I've been trying to write a post for a couple days now, and always seem to leave it for later. Let's see if I can finish this one.
Music news. Still workin' it from here in the Lab, but I've been learning a number of new tunes. Building up more repertoire. We just played Boone's back in May, so it'll take awhile for the rotation to get back to us. But I am looking forward to playing some of these new tunes with a real live bass player and drummer.
The YouTube page is doing fine. 180 subscribers at the moment. I've gotten some nice messages from folks out there, which I always respond to. Even though I'm doing these from the cloistered confines of the Music Lab, I'm still thinking about an audience.
This has been another prolific year as far as albums. The newest one is Souvenirs. I guess I self-identify as a jazz guy, but my home stuff seems to be more in a sort of fusion/smooth mix. Some guitar and keyboard shenanigans, but more just pretty songs. Big Hair, Big Dreams also has some purty tunes..
I have one more of those in me, with more purty tunes. Might try to get it out before the end of the year. Next up is a solo guitar album, which I'm gonna do in somebody else's studio. That'll be more jazz stuff. Another guitar player, whom I've known since High School days--which was awhile ago!
Okay! That's my news for the moment. I'm aware of what's going on in the world, but try to keep it out of my posts. This is why I haven't been able to finish one of these in a couple days. I do have a rant in me, and may unleash it in another post that I don't share to Bookface.
