Saturday

Good morning! 10:48 and 46 degrees, another beautiful but chilly day.

Nine hours of sleep! I had some crazy dreams, the central theme of which I was flunking History. Had a pile of papers with me, which were apparently my test results. There was an advisor, who told me to check my responses. Couldn't quite get back to them to fix things. I was only flunking in one subject, so it was a question of how it would affect me overall.

I've had the flunking-out dream before. Quite often it's a class I haven't attended all semester. I have a number of dream scenarios, school being one of them. There is also a nightclub, and a sort of 'red-light district'. And some places which are amalgamations of different locations.

I have quite an interesting night-life. Usually it fades into dust upon awakening. Once in awhile, though, I do remember them- or at least most of them.

In Music News, I do have a new post up on my YouTube page, and on Facebook. It's the old standard It Could Happen to You. My cat has been sandwiching herself between me and what I'm doing, including making those videos. One take was completely 'ruined'. I was able to get through another take, but had to pause here and there to keep her off the table. You can see her tail for a second in there, but I was able to keep the rest of her off-camera.

A skimpy post today, but that's my news. If I continue, I'm gonna end up talking about what I refer to as the GOP Clowncar. George Orwell's description of Winston Smith's neighbor Parsons- paralyzingly stupid- would certainly apply to Herschel Walker, as well as a few others.

Feeling like I need to put my thoughts together on all this, which I'll probably do in another blog, this one not forwarded to Facebook. Coming soon!

Okay. That's all I've got for you for now. Thanks as ever for stopping in and wading through it. Happy Saturday to you, whoever you voted for! I'm outa here. Lumosity and Wordle await. Later, folks.

PS today's pic was taken downtown on the Square, for the artist-on-the-plaza thing. Dawn DeFraties took this picture as I remember.

PPS today's tune is a multi-guitar thing. Hope you like it.
