Good morning! 9:08 and 23 degrees at the moment. Supposed to be up to 38 today- 6 degrees warmer than yesterday. . Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer still. Another round of Indian Summer before it gets truly cold. Fine by me.
Starting to get back to normal after Thursday's experience. There were no surprises(except for one surprise visitor), but it still shook me up. Just a little more self-conscious--but relieved--that I'm being watched over.. Good to get some perspective though. The world is a crazy place at the moment. Any kinda handle you can get on it is a good thing.
Music news. It's been awhile since I've made music with other folks, and I'm starting to get the itch. I had gigs in January, February, April, May and August of this year. Feels like it's about time to do another something or other, even if it's just someone coming over to play.
I work pretty well as a solo act, here in the Music Laboratory. It's peaceful. No crowd noise. And no egos to deal with except my own. But every so often I need to have other people around, egos notwithstanding. So this will take care of itself, most likely..
In the meantime, I try to keep my YouTube page well-stocked. Up to 210 subscribers. Sometimes they send me a note about one of the things I post. I always write back. It's a good thing. Except for occasional trips out of the house, that's my audience these days.
So that's my news for the moment. I have yet another album to send out there pending a few re-mixes, and will be making another solo guitar album in this coming year. Still an active musician, even though I'm pretty much retired..
