Tuesday Welding

Good morning! 9:31 and 75 degrees are our current stats. It looks like a nice moderate day on the way. My music room--which is sort of my Center of the Cosmos--has been a frickin' oven lately. Grumble gripe groan...This is another one of my guitars, an Ibanez Strat. I don't use the whammy bar anymore, but I still like the sound and the feel of this skinny Minnie.

I've been playing it lately, and even have a few videos I made with it. So along with the red guitar and the yellow guitar, I have the copper guitar to put in the rotation.

Guitarists will notice the locking nut just above the fretboard. As far as unlocking it, i used to have an allen wrench someplace, but it keeps pretty good tune as is.

I used to have a gold top Les Paul Deluxe, to which I added a locking nut as well. Didn't take to the Les Paul. I think it was one thing too many, as far as souping up that guitar. Les Pauls are best left in their pristine state. Live and learn...

Over the years, I've gone back and forth as far as big guitars vs skinny ones. And lots of pedals vs no pedals.

On gigs, I'm pretty much no frills. just plug the guitar into the amp. But I do have a Line 6 guitar processor that I use for recording. Wayyy more Death Metal sounds than I think I'd ever use, but still lots of tone varieties.

My album Sonorities uses a variety of tone colors, all found on the Line 6. The link will take you to a YouTube page of mine which features that album as well as others.

Not much actual news at the moment. At least no actual music news. Still just doing what I'm doing. More YouTube videos, and more recorded music on the way, just as soon as I get it all organized.

So thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy Tuesday to you! For now, I'm outa here. Lumosity and Wordle are next up for me. Always had an affinity for that nerd stuff anyway ,but  at this age it's necessary just as is physical exercise. So long for now.
