Music news. I have a new album, the contents of which I just now uploaded to CD Baby. They're the folks who help me release my stuff, and distribute it to all kindsa places. Been with them for quite some time now, since around 2001.
The album is called Souvenirs. It's another one of my mutts as far as style. Some of it is nice and smooth, and some of it is quirky. As far as sounding like anybody else, there are a couple pieces on here that are somewhat reminiscent of Weather Report, particularly Joe Zawinul's playing and writing. One of them I even titled Birdland Adjacent, kind of an homage..
So, coming on the 1st of September, a new album. And I'm working on some more stuff, which will eventually be another album. When it rains, it pours..
There are a number of new pieces of mine on the Music page. Most of the newest ones are works-in-progress, meaning that they need some more work or at least a new mix.
