un-manic Monday

My Mondays are hardly ever manic anymore. It's been a full decade since I left my job at the unemployment office, where every Monday had some mania to it. But some Mondays still have some irritation to them.

Music News. I've got a sort of mini-CD to release, just 2 tunes and lasting no more than 7 or 8 minutes. Tried to put it up on CD Baby, who told me during the entry process that my music couldn't be monetized due to the genre I selected.

So I went back and changed the genre from Classical to Electronic, which seemed to go through, only I couldn't get the cover photo to download. It seems I ran out of free downloads from the page I've been using. At least until tomorrow. And at that point, I just scrapped the whole thing, and put it up here.

And as far as being monetized--21st century vernacular for getting paid--I just said fuck it and made this into a free download. One to take home with you.

Well that's my news for today. A minor rant. Still gonna keep trying to make music here in the Lab, and share whatever seems to work. Much falls on the cutting room floor, but there are always a few survivors.

Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy Monday to you, if that's possible. Later for now.  PS today's pic was taken sometime in 1985, somewhere in the territorial United States, most likely one of the Western ones. I was part of a roadband that travelled around in an old School Bus--yes, shades of the Partridge Family. I'm pretty sure I got that hat somewhere in Texas.
