Thursday

Good morning! 10:03 and 45 degrees at the moment. A nice sunny day on tap.

My new guitar and I are still in our Velcro Period. That's how my ex-wife described our early days. Not much adhesion at the end, but we did have a lot of stickum at first.

I don't name my instruments, but whatever her name is, I can't keep my hands off her. Even doing a bit of playing at the very end of the day. And I've got a growing number of videos to post sometime or other.

This coming year I'm planning on doing another solo guitar album. And actually leaving the house to do it. I did one back in 2007, at Michael Taylor's studio in Pawnee, and it's ended up being my best seller. I don't even promote it anymore because it seems to get all the attention. Been planning a sequel for some time now, so it's nice to see this coming to fruition.

I think I'll have a slight commute for this new one as well. Dennis Neff is who I'll be working with, and I think he lives in Dawson. Like Michael Taylor, another old friend and fellow picker.

There are times for holing up here in the Music Lab, and there are times for getting out. I've done enough one-man-band  projects, especially in the last couple of years- the COVID years..  So this is still  technically a solo project, but I'll at least be working with someone else.

Anyway, that's my news for the moment. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy Thursday to you! For now, I'm outa this place. Lumosity and Wordle are next up. Later for now.
