This is a collection of pieces all created on a Roland Fantom synthesizer. The title piece began as a rhythmic motif which sort of added its own 'nonsense' syllables. I don't know why, but I thought of úp through the up pipe. Up Through the Up Pipe is something a five-year-old would think of. That's why I ended up using it as the title of this collection as well. Alternately titled Home Band Shell, this is basically a Band Concert. The music was made on a synthesizer, but was fashioned after a Chamber Orchestra- with brasses, winds, strings and percussion.
