Saturday

Good morning! It's just after nine on this slightly foreboding Saturday. Well maybe foreboding is too strong a word. But it looks like rain is on the way. Actually, that's foreboding enough for me. Still waking up with that first cup of coffee.

Music news. It's been busy these past couple days. Thursday I went to Pawnee to a friend's recording studio and had my upcoming CD all balanced as far as levels, and some reverb added here and there. And yesterday I uploaded all this new stuff to CD Baby, the place from which I peddle my wares. CD Baby is undergoing a kind of mitosis, where it divides, splinters off, into several pieces.

CD Baby itself is now more of a relay system, like the Thalamus in the brain- ,sending your stuff to all manner of digital companies. As far as making CDs, that's now in their Distribution center, which required a new password. Once I was in, I had to convert all my art and text files to PDF format. The music files went in without a hitch, but getting the artwork just right was a white-knuckle experience. Many attempts and revisions, but I  " got 'er done".. Very spent last night, but it was a good spent.

So my new CD will be here- 100 copies- around the 23rd of this month. It will be available through CD Baby as a download in the next week or two. All good. But now I'm locked out of my regular CD Baby page. Seems like there always has to be something, some kind of problem or obstruction.. C'est la vie!

Hoping to get back on the guitar today. I haven't played in a couple days, due to working on this new CD. Today is an exercise day, which takes about 35 minutes- and then an hour or so to recover! Sometimes it actually energizes me as far as playing. We'll see. Whatever works, I share.

So that's my music news for now. Looking forward to sharing this new music with you guys. Actually I just started thinking about another recording much like this one, which will probably come to fruition sometime next year. Always working on something seems to help 2020 go down a little easier. Music is a great coping device. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Happy "foreboding' Saturday to you! Ich bin outa here. More later.

PS The tune for today is the first cut on my new CD. Hope you like it!
