Hot diggity dog! The website's back up. Technical problems prevented me from posting for most of the morning, but here we finally are. Sometimes you appreciate life all the more when it doesn't suck.
As you get older, these daily rituals really start to take over. Things just ain't right until you get your geezer groove on for the day. I'm an old guy, at least by some standards, and this is one of my Old Guy Rituals. along with the morning coffee. And Lumosity. And now Wordle..
Musical news. It's always going on here in the Lab, bur as far as music being made outside the house, I have two events coming up and they're both with José Gobbo. One is the 15th of next month at Anchors Away, and the other one will be at House of Music, date TBA. I'm gonna try and get a few things up on my YouTube page. There's one up there already, a blues which pretty much goes to Mars.
Late-breaking musical news. RIP Canon Powershot Digital Camera. It had a long life and provided many videos for my YouTube page. The battery finally broke apart to where I couldn't pull it out of the camera to recharge. So as far as my YouTube pages, I'll be going to the archives for a time while I get things together.
I've still got a flip-top phone, and have been getting mail from Verizon telling me in so many words that they're going to keep bugging me until I finally give in and update. This usually just makes me more stubborn and ornery, but the one I have is on the decline, so it's time.
And from there, I should have a much better camera to work with. Kill two birds with one stone, as the expression goes. I can't say that I exactly embrace change, but I roll with it eventually. Not a Luddite, but on the spectrum..
Is there a Luddite spectrum? I should think so.
