Good morning! Just this side of 10 on this cloudyass Friday. Facebook is a little quieter today, but still filled with pictures of the cast of Duck Dynasty storming the White House. The only pictures I want to see will be of that oafish Oligarchy aka The First Family leaving the White House. 12 long days from today. So much for my political two cents...
Music news. New stuff on the horizon! I'm releasing an album of the quartet I had from '00 to the end of '05, all live performances. And as well as recognizable tunes, it actually has vocals. Georgia on my Mind and Got Bless the Child are the two vocal selections. And don't worry, it's not me singing! Looking forward to sharing this new album. Having CDs made this time, so I can sell them at whatever gigs I end up having this year. Of course, it will also be available digitally.
The only other album I have with singing on it is an old thing called Fast Food Automaton. It's one of my rock albums, along with another one called Odyssey(which a friend of mine called Oddity..)and there are two selections I actually sing. I don't have the most dulcet voice out there, but enough so to cover these tunes. If interested, you can find either of these online. They've been around awhile- just like me..
Sometimes in writing these posts, I feel like the pesky Insurance Guy who's always trying to sell you something. Ned Ryerson. "Needle-nose, Ned, Ned the head--come on, buddy!" But it's just the nature of the beast. I've been at this music thing for over half a century(!), and in that time have made a lot of records. I have enough money to live on, so it's not a financial thing- although I don't turn down money! I'm more the pesky Insurance Guy who's always trying to share something with you. Donations are accepted but not required.

David Hoffman plays a nice solo in here. The title came from a dream I had wherein I got my brother a board game for Christmas, which was called Jewish Insurance. Hope you'll make it a "policy" to check it out. Okay, sorry for that last one..
