Good morning! Just this side of 10. In about 4 hours, I'll be getting Dose #2. Wish I could fast-forward and get it over with. But I make a five-minute drive for a five-minute procedure, so I can't really complain. And speaking of not complaining, I got a nice surprise in my checking account this morning. Thinking of all the people out of work right now, who are thrilled to find they have just a little more money.
Music news. The battle continues, as far as trying to get my album The Sam Crain Quartet off and running. I just got another rejection email yesterday, prompting me to take the names off the cover. So I just threw in the towel. The album cover now has my name back on it, but with a new title. Quartet '04. And the names of the other people are staying on there.
Most of me is exhausted from all this. But there's still a small part of me that likes a good fight. I think I've finally got it though. The other album I fought with them over is now off and running, and I've all but forgotten all the hassles that went into it. And so it will go with this one.
Otherwise, just plugging along. I've got a couple new things, which are on the Music page of the site here. And I'll have one of them with today's post. Skimpy as it is, that's my news for now.
