A rare evening post. Normally something I do with the morning coffee, but it got shelved. Working away in the home studio, just created another whatever: about three and a half minutes of music with seven tracks worth of instruments.
My time in the Music Lab is divided between stuff I've already written and stuff made from scratch. This last thing I built more or less from a rhythmic pattern, just kept adding until it seemed full enough. It's a lot like waterpainting, with the different timbres being the colors. That said, you want to avoid overdoing it and ending up with mud..
So I now have 8 new pieces to remix onto a CD. Go for more, or stop and remix. Decisions, decisions. Pretty spent right now from just having hatched another one. so I think I'll suspend that choice until tomorrow.
That's all I've got for news at the moment. Still waiting on my Quartet CD as far as getting it out there. Trying not to think about it.. So some new music on the horizon. Thanks as ever for stopping in and reading. Moving on for now. Later.
