Good morning! What a beautiful day out there. Almost nine hours of sleep last night. I need seven to be adequately fueled for the day. 7.5 is just right, or lagom as the Swedes would say. More than that is a luxury. Some crazy dreams, which are half-remembered as usual. Something about houses with angular windows... Halfway down on that first cup of coffee. Ready to start my day.
Music news. After months of struggle, my beleaguered CD The Sam Crain Quartet is finally off and running! I just got the news, and had to come back and rewrite this blog. It was already a great day, and just got even better. So it will soon be available through iTunes and Spotify and all the others. Whew!!!
In other news, I seem to be on another roll, as far as working here in the Lab. Eight new selections. Still doing the multi-instrumentalist thing with bass and keyboard as well as guitar. Some nice grooves in there, which I look forward to sharing.
Doofus here got a DVD stuck in the computer, so a trip to the shop will be necessary before I can upload anything. Steeling myself for a couple days without a computer, but I should get it back better than ever. As it was, it took many tries to get the damn tray to open. Can't believe I put up with it this long..
Plenty for you to listen to though, as I get these things fixed. YouTube and the Music page of my site are fairly well-stocked. I'm still in there pitching.
