Good morning! It's about ten of ten on this variable Friday. Another sun n' clouds combo. Most of the working world is getting ready for that 48-hour reprieve otherwise known as the weekend.
Remembering the days of Mr J's, with the Jane Harman Trio playing from 5 to 8 every Friday. A bygone era. I'd just started working for the State('91) and was feeling all the stress of a new and more challenging job. So happy hour was just what the Doctor ordered.
Over the years, happy hour has taken off more edges than a Carpenter. Well actually the alcohol consumed was what smoothed out those rough edges, but happy hour provided the setting. So a big thanks, both to happy hour and beer. I don't know if I could've done it without you.
Musical news. Getting ready to make some more. Music, that is. Whether or not it's newsworthy remains to be seen. Nothing on the calendar for all of next week, so I'm hoping to get into some kind of trouble here in the Lab. I've already got a pretty good array of new things already.
Doofus here still has a DVD lodged in the computer, so we remain at a standstill as far as my uploading anything new. By the time I finally get that sucker extricated, and the computer returns to full function, my new material will seem like a windfall.
But suffice it to say, I'm still happily working away here in the Music Lab. Practicing guitar most every day, trying to keep those chops up to snuff. Eventually I'll get back to Robbie's for that date I was supposed to have had back in May of last year. In the meantime, still bringing it to you from here.
