Good morning! Just now eleven o'clock on this variable Friday. A slightly later start to the day. Lights out at 1:30, up at eight(!), then quickly back to bed until 10. A night of intense, vivid dreams, especially the most recent couple hours. It always seems to fade into dust upon awakening. Almost like I wasn't meant to remember it.
The Magic Theatre. For Madmen Only. Price of admission in this case is not your mind but your memory. As a twentysomething guy, I read a lot of Hermann Hesse. Everything but Magister Ludi. Somehow never got to that one..The reference here was to Steppenwolf--the book, not the band! Trying to remember the various things I read 40 years ago(!) is like trying to remember my dreams. But a few things still peek through..

Making a recording on your own is much more a DIY operation anymore. In my early days of doing this, I had either an art department or individual graphic artist to do it for me. These days, you submit it to them. It still gets done, but..
Maybe I just need to get me a new graphic artist to work with. But I do like the fact that I'm getting a little slicker at all this. Still a hack, but getting better...
Anyway, that's the scoop for today. Feeling pretty good today, especially having had some luxury sleep-defined, at least for me, as anything over 7.5 hours. Hope to get into some kinda trouble with one of the guitars on the other side of the room. Hopefully I'll have something to share. For now, ich bin outa here.
