Good morning! 8:56 and 22 degrees are our stats for the moment on this, the last shitty Winter day in the foreseeable future. We may have another blast in March, and we'll likely have another one in November or December. But for now, we're cool.
I write these more or less every day, but just haven't posted to Facebook in awhile. My stuff just didn't seem newsworthy. Doing this on a daily basis, that's gonna happen. For the few folks who read these, you can always find them on my site. But here goes one I'm going to post to FB.
Music News. Still in Studio Mode here. In the Winter of 2022, I've had two gigs and four home-recording binges. So I'm still going over the stuff I've done. Sometimes it takes a couple listens to realize what you have--or what you don't have, as the case may be.
Most all of it is up on the Music page, and there are always a few downloads in there. This seems to be where my energy is going, so I'm just trying to follow it. Go with what seems to be the flow..
I believe very much in following one's dreams. Do what you love, the money will follow, however, is a load of horseshit. So glad I busted my ass to get a job with the State and hung in there with it. By all means, follow your dreams--but find a way to finance them first!
Still giving the guitar what for, as far as musicmaking here in the Lab. I've been doing a lot of Organ Trio stuff as far as the various playalong recordings I use. I just haven't had one up to snuff in awhile. But there is a current one up on YouTube.
