Good morning! 9:35 and 56 degrees for the moment. I'm sure there'll be the usual festivities around town this evening.
The only thing I had going for today was a lunch with a friend from working days, which got cancelled. It's been a more-or-less monthly thing for a couple years now. We discuss, and joke and sometimes argue. I do enjoy the discussions and the jocularity.
Music news. I had a nice time yesterday playing solo guitar for a Women's Christian group's monthly luncheon, speaking of monthly luncheons. Even got some new action photos of me with the guitar. They're a little fuzzy, but that gives them a sort of 70s soft focus vibe. Dear Penthouse,..
Doing another duo thing with José Gobbo. Our first one was back in January at the 3sixteen Wine Bar in Chatham. This one will be at the House of Music, 3rd and North Grand, date and time TBA. I'll let you know as soon as I have that information.
Not much else going on right now. José and I have a duo gig on the 15th of next month, at Anchors Away, and this other thing at House of Music which will probably be in the meantime.
