Good morning! 10 o'clock straight up, and a breezy 50 degrees. My body and my house have adjusted to the change. It always takes a couple days to get with it, both coming and going.
Domestic/Old Guy news. I go in this coming Tuesday to see somebody about this tooth that's been bothering me. The antibiotics have knocked back the pain, but it's still there. Arrival time is 9:30, which is very doable. In retirement, I've gone from a night owl to a mid-morning person. Still can't quite hack the early morning, but anything after nine I'm good for.
Music news. Well I suppose the top story is still my new album Souvenirs. With these solo projects, you don't have the option of a CD Release Party. There's no fanfare. But it's still some new music I think you guys will enjoy. The link will take you to a site where you can hear other albums as well as this one.
I feel like I have one more of these albums in me. Hopefully I'll get all this together by the end of the year. Feeling done with these solo projects, at least for awhile. Like I've gotten them out of my system. Time for something different.
Next up will probably be a solo guitar album, which I'd be doing in someone else's studio. And I'd love to do another trio CD. Speaking of trios, it feels like we might be coming up in the rotation for another Boone's date. Looking forward to that, whenever it happens.
