Election Day

Greetings, whoever-reads-this! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, about 4:43 in the pm, a breezy 56 degrees.

As well as casting my vote, I had lunch at a new Mexican restaurant with some friends, discussing the various ills of the world over copious amounts of food.

One look at my meal, and I knew about half of it was going in a Go Box. This will be at least my next meal and a half..

Morolean Tropical. On Wabash Avenue, just past the curve. A little Mom n' Pop shop. As long as they're good, I tend to prefer these places to their more corporate counterparts.

As far as any musical news, it's still happening right here in the Laboratory. I'm living a paradoxical existence, being pretty much retired from any kind of work but still practicing every day and working on recordings and so forth. Then again, if it's in you, music isn't really something you retire from--maybe like the Mafia... Your method of doing it may change, but you're still gonna find a way.

Okay, that's all I've got for now. Thanks as ever for stopping in and wading through it. Happy Tuesday to you! I'm outa here. More later.
