Greetings, whoever-reads-this! I have some bona fide Music News for you today.
Bona Fide Music News. I just hatched a new album. It's called Interluudes. Yes, I guess that's my coy drug humor at work here. Actually, it's more a play on words than any kind of homage to The Stoned Life. I never touched a quaalude or any other downer in my life as far as that goes. Though I have had my fun with the milder hallucinogens..
Anyway, the music. I just got done putting all this stuff up on CD Baby, so it should be available soon. I set December 1st as a release date. Gotta get all this stuff up here on the website, under My Wares.
As a listening experience, it's set up like a concert or show, right down to the exit music. Having played many shows in my lifetime, I remember having to give the audience their walk-out music. Actually, it was usually two tunes, at which point they were all long gone.
So it's a lot of guitar stuff, as usual. The opening piece, called Evanescent, is something different for me, more akin to Van Halen. I wasn't a huge fan, but I still enjoyed his playing and even worked up my own version of Eruption. Back in the 80s..
And as if this weren't enough, I've got another such collection of tunes- or interludes, if you will- to share. It just needs a cover photo and some semblance of a title. I used up all three free tries on the Photo Editor website I've got, so I can either fork over a couple bucks or wait until tomorrow.
Waiting until tomorrow sounds like a good plan. But I am getting this stuff off my desk, so to speak. A wave of productivity at the end of the year.
