Greetings, whoever-reads-this! Another Spartacus Day here in Samland. These are usually few and far between, but I'm at least on a two-day roll..
I solved a problem today! It involved my ability to upload music files from my camera. I've been using a Canon Powershot as my vehicle for guitar creativity, for making the music videos I upload to my YouTube page.
This plagued me for much of the day. Couldn't seem to get the page to load. I tried messing with Dropbox, which I'd started to subscribe to and then got to thinking maybe they were the problem.
Finally, I just persisted and brought up the Photos page which usually comes up by itself. At the top of the page was the usual link for me to upload my stuff, and voila- there were the two recordings I'd made. Got ém both uploaded. I just needed to give things a little push.
It feels good to solve a problem. You feel like a weight has been lifted. And it makes you feel like maybe you've still got an IQ with a fighting chance at three digits.
Making music videos--or at least being able to make them--is almost a basic body function, like eating or sleeping. It helps me get a lot of stuff out of my system, as well as the pure joy of playing.
